Andreas Stulz, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer:
Andreas Stulz comes from a distinguished family of engineers and entrepreneurs. He is part owner and board member of Stulz GmbH, a company founded by his father that has developed into an international leader in Tier 1 automotive parts technologies that counts Audi, BMW, Daimler-Chrysler and Ford among its many clients. The company is also a leading developer of structural air conditioning and ventilation systems.
A successful entrepreneur in his own right, Andreas Stulz has developed companies in a variety of industries in the United States and Europe. Most notably, he founded a security electronics company that spawned what is now a $3 billion industry in Europe. The common theme in all his ventures has been a dedication to innovation in precision engineering and quality manufacturing. These ideas serve as the foundation of Stulz Golf Technologies.
Stulz has had a strong passion for the game of golf since his youth. His first venture into the golf industry was Golf All Mighty, a unique retail concept in Winter Park, Fla. that aims to provide amateur golfers with custom-fitted equipment that was built specifically for their needs.
Gary M. Diehl, Director of Sales:
With over 30 years of sales experience in the golf and consumer goods industries, Gary M. Diehl has a vast background in the market. Prior to joining Stulz Golf Technologies, Diehl was executive vice president of sales and marketing for Vulcan Golf, LLC where he restructured the company’s focus to expand its marketing efforts nationwide. He will be responsible for managing the company’s sales force and developing merchandising programs.
Diehl has held management roles with notable companies within and outside the golf industry. In addition to Colgate Palmolive, he has worked with Star Knitwear, Duckster, Ram Golf and Titleist by Corbin.
Mary E. Bryan, LPGA Pro Staff:
Mary Bryan is a 13-year veteran of the LPGA Tour and is still a part-time LPGA Tour contestant. She currently plays full-time on the LPGA Senior Tour. In her role with Stulz Golf Technologies, Bryan is responsible for developing avenues through which to promote the company within the golf industry.
In addition to playing professionally, Bryan leads a successful career in broadcasting. She has worked for NBC and ABC/ESPN covering four Major tournaments and four US Opens, respectively. Bryan is currently a commentator for CBS. She was the first female broadcaster to cover a men’s Major golf event.
Off the golf course, Bryan is an active philanthropist who helps raise funds for organizations such as Junior Achievement, American Cancer Society, University of Wisconsin Medical School, Riddle Hospital of Philadelphia and the Rex Hospital of Raleigh, NC. She is also a founding member of Stulz Foundation, which works to support organizations that enhance the lives of senior citizens in America.
Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology from Eastern New Mexico University. She maintains active memberships at Alaqua Country Club, Errol Estates Country Club and Harmony Landing Country Club.
Helmut Preller, Creative Director:
Helmut Preller has over 20 years of experience in strategic and creative marketing – both business-to-consumer and business-to-business. Preller develops marketing platforms for Stulz Golf Technologies and advises company executives on marketing communications. He also currently works as a consultant for German-based City Marketing where he helps small communities develop programs to improve local tourism and increase job creation.
Preller is a long-time consultant to company founder and CEO Andreas Stulz. He has also worked as a consultant to some of the world’s largest companies in the coffee, agricultural bio-engineering and publishing industries as well as companies in the architectural, entertainment, air conditioning and Arabian horse breeding industries.
Preller owns a small hotel in Germany. Aside from his various business ventures, Preller is an ardent student of golf.
Ray Hess, Master Club Builder:
Ray Hess has a wealth of education and experience in the practice of custom golf club making. He is a certified Master Club Maker and has served as a senior instructor at the Golf School of the South where he personally taught over 1,000 students the practice of club making. Prior to that, he worked as a club-fitter on the LPGA Tour for two years. In that short time, players using clubs fitted by Hess won 40 tournaments. His experience and ongoing education make him an expert on the latest designs in golf club technology.
As master club builder for Stulz Golf Technologies, Hess manages the manufacturing department for both consumers and professionals. In addition, he oversees inventory and sales budgets.
